Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment through Secure Hosting online payments, we also accept credit card payment over the phone, unfortunately we no longer accept cheques. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Visa Electron, Solo & American Express.
All items are charged to your card immediately after your order is taken, however if you would like to pay a deposit until your item arrives in stock please contact us on 01482 573530 and we can take your order over the phone and take a 10% deposit until your item arrives in stock. When the item arrives in stock, we will contact you to arrange delivery we will then take your card details again (all credit card details are destroyed after the deposit is taken) in order to process the balance payment. All orders must be paid in full at least the day before delivery of the bed. In cases where the delivery is passed onto a third party or done by the manufacturer, the payment may be requested in full at least one week before delivery. Please do not e-mail credit card information, please contact us on 01482 573530. Once your payment has been taken your card details are then destroyed.
Please note that if you pay on a card that is not registered to the delivery address, we will not be able to dispatch your order until we have posted an invoice to the invoice address and you have confirmed the code displayed on that invoice. These are fraud preventative measures to protect all parties involved.

Shipping And Handling Here at Simply Mattress in association with Beds on Legs all items are delivered free of charge within England, Wales and Scotland (excluding the Scottish highlands). If you are in the Scottish highlands, Isle of Man or Northern Ireland, our couriers charge a nominal fee for this service (* Please see service areas below), please contact us on 01482 573530 to check the charge. We do not deliver to Ireland, the Channel Islands, Isle of Lewis, Isle of Skye, Shetlands, Outer Hebrides, Orkney Islands.
Please note free delivery is available on a mutually agreed specified day between 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. However the following service upgrades are available on the majority of items.
- Am delivery £5.00 charge ( see below for exclusion areas) - Saturday AM delivery £20.00 charge
All items are delivered to the outside of the customers door (our contractors can only delivery to ground floor level unless pre-arranged with the customer when the item is purchased) therefore the customer needs to make suitable arrangements to move the items to their required location.
Certain items are delivered on an upgraded two man delivery service to the room of your choice, a few items are listed below:
- All 6' Super kingsize non vacuum packed mattresses over £500.
If you would like your item to be taken to the room of your choice upstairs or downstairs and it is not listed above we can arrange this for an extra charge of £20. On this service delivery days take place between Monday-Friday, the days available may vary depending on your location. On this service the courier will inform you 24 hours before whether the delivery will take place in the morning or the afternoon.
Both Beds on Legs/ the contractor and the personnel of Beds on Legs/ the contractor will not accept liability for any damage both to the delivered product and to the customers property, (including all types of fixtures, fittings and building structure), whilst assisting the customer with delivery to the room of choice. The customer must solely take responsibility for this action. Any consequent damage should fall under the customer's household insurance.
All upgraded delivery charges must be arranged and paid for in full prior to delivery. Please note that all upgraded services are non-refundable.
Please note were a delivery/collection date has been agreed with the carrier and the buyer, and the buyer is not present, the seller reserves the right to charge the buyer a minimum of £10 to cover the cost of the failed delivery/ Collection. Exclusions on upgraded services The following post codes in Scotland normally incurr a delivery charge of £30.00:
AB post codes, FK19-21, HS, IV1-56, KA27-28, KW, PA20-78, PH9, PH15-44. Isle of Man post codes incur a charge of £60 Northern Ireland: Price on Application Please note delivery is not available on a next day service to these areas.
We can not upgrade deliveries to an AM to the following post codes: England & Wales: TR21-25, IM1-9. Scotland: AB post codes, FK19, HS, IM1-9, IV1-56, AB10-30, AB39, DD8-11, EH38, EH43-46, FK8, G63, G83-84, IV2, PH8, PH10-11. We do not deliver to the Channel Islands, Isle of Lewis, Isle of Skye, Shetlands, Outer Hebrides, Orkney Islands
Please be aware for health and safety issues delivery drivers are unable to remove their shoes when delivering products into customers houses. If you need to protect your flooring please make sure an adequate cover has been placed on the floor prior to the delivery driver arriving.

Delivery Schedule We have a great number of items in stock, if your item is in stock we will contact you within 48hrs to arrange delivery. Many items do however have to be ordered. The delivery time varies depending on the item, so in each item description we have given the approximate delivery time, please see the relevant item for the delivey time. If for any reason you can not see the delivery time please contact us on 01482 576771 where we can give you it over the phone.

Back Orders We will give approx delivery times for the delivery of goods at the point of sale. However occasionally an order maybe delayed due to reasons beyond our control. In this situation the customer can either wait for the goods to be delivered, choose an alternative or obtain a full refund which will be processed within 30 days |
Tax Charges All orders are inclusive of VAT. |
Credit Card Security When the order is placed on our website, you are taken to a secure server upon which you should see a lock in the right hand corner of the screen. When you order your item over the phone, we take your details and once we have processed the transaction we detroy the card details. |
Guarantee All our products come with a one year manufacturers guarantee, if you take a look at individual descriptions on the mattresses you may find that your item comes with a warranty.
A warranty in the case of the products on our site are an extended reassurance that if the product has a manufacturers fault within the set warranty period the manufacturer will exchange or fix the item in question. Please note that in the case of warranties that this replacement is not done free of charge and that warranties from bed manufacturers work on a sliding scale depending on how long you have had the mattress. If you have had the mattress 2 years, you will pay a smaller percentage towards a new mattress than you would if you have had the mattress 5 years. |

Privacy Policy Simply Mattress in association with Beds on Legs do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm
If for any reason you wish to return the goods, please note that you have seven working days in which to report this to us. The following conditions apply:
The goods are returned to us at a charge of £29 to the consumer, this is to recover part of the collection cost. (Please note that any upgraded delivery charges are non-refundable included the upgraded two man service and the Premium setup charge as these are for the service provided) The consumer must retain possession and take good care of the goods until we come and collect them. The goods are returned in the original packaging ( goods that are delivered by courier are very well packaged both by the manufacturer and then by ourselves). The items have not been part or fully assembled (items will then not be in a re-saleable condition). Mattresses must not be slept on. This returns policy excludes special order items such as made to measure mattresses, such items will not be able to be returned. Collections are on an all day service between 8.30am- 5.30pm due to courier restrictions This returns charge does not apply to damaged items due to a manufacturers fault, if your item is damaged on arrival please sign it as damaged on the couriers form and contact us immediately. If you have not signed for the items as damaged please contact us within 7 working days in order that we can organize a replacement or a collection of the damaged item. We will request photos of the damage or fault so that we can see it. The Terms & Condtions above also apply to faulty items that need exchanging or collecting ie the items will need to be packaged and kept in good condition. Collections are unfortunately an all day service whether the item is faulty or not. Please note if you want to return an item at the point of delivery for any reason for example does not fit you will still incurr the return fee of £29.00.
Once the item has been returned to us in good condition, the consumer will be refunded less the £29.00 recovery fee within 14 days.
